Fit & size were good, the dress just didn’t suit my style. Well made.

I returned this because I needed a petite instead. This dress runs large in the bust. I am 5’2, 115 pounds, 32D. So not flat, but I didn’t fill up the top, There was a noticeable difference between a regular 4 and a petite 4 in the bust, but it still ran large based on my lifetime experience of dress-wearing.
This version of this illusion sleeve dress, with the beaded top, is bra friendly, because there are two layers of the sheer material where the beads are. A bra that matches your skin tone will not be visible through the sheer top. The beads are “metal” coated plastic, and flaking. But the worse problem is the glue. The beads are not sewn on, but laid on their sides and glued on. There is lots of excess glue, around each bead, and in places where there are no beads. Between Amazon, Zappos, and a department store, I laid eyes on EIGHT of these dresses. They are all the same on the glue front. The worst color was the aubergine, where the extra glue bits, white in color, fell off and accumulated between the two layers of sheer material just above the heavier dress material. You’d have to very carefully open a seam on the underlayer to dump out these excess glue particles. The navy version seem to have all its excess glue on the outside of the top layer of the sheer material. That’s easier to deal with, because it is accessible. But you would need to VERY GENTLY work off the excess glue, slowly and patiently. The beads are not very securely attached it seems to me.
The dress is comfortable when on, and the sleeves are very pretty. If you are flat chested, choose another dress.
